Greetings!
It’s the last market of the year and that means that fall is here, but there is still tons of stuff available at the markets. Thank you to all of you who continue to make IFM the best market in North Portland.
What you’ll find - peaches, raspberries, plums, nectarines, hummus, salsa, fresh dog biscuits, lettuce, carrots, beets, leeks, potatoes, heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, peppers, squash, apples, wild meats, pesto, “killer” bread, tamales, ribs, 7 flavors of honey, strawberries, brownies, cheese, german bread and fresh cut flowers.
Thanks for another great season!

Here’s some stuff to fill the empty feeling you all will feel when the market season has ended.
Man! I can’t believe that its September already!
Last weeks market’s warm temperatures were great for fruit. Apples, blackberries, raspberries, melons, pears, strawberries, peaches and nectarines. And even though we may see a drop of rain or two this week’s market you can expect to see all those fruits.
As for vegetables, there will be a lot to choose from as well. Corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, lettuce and other greens, peppers, carrots, potatoes, summer squash and much more will be readily available this Wednesday.
Just 2 weeks to go in the 2007 season! Last Market 26th! Don’t miss out!
Also if you live in North Portland be sure to stop by my new favorite cafe The little Red Bicycle Cafe! Evan and Allie are rocking the former No-Po coffee house with delicious breakfast, lunch and the freshest organic ice cream in town. See for yourself!
Oh, and if you stop by the market between 3:30 - 6:30 you’ll hear the feel good sound of Samba Feat!
